["I like the thought of both Kate and Claire getting to be a part of Aaron’s life, as both of their fates have been inextricably linked to the boy. It was Aaron that caused both of them to wake up in the Sideways world, after all."]

I doubt that Kate spent the rest of her life with the Littletons. I doubt that she was able to be anywhere near them. I am certain that Kate finally ended up in prison for skipping out on her parole. And as much as I believe Claire was grateful to Kate for getting her off the island, I doubt that she would allow the convict anywhere near Aaron, while he remained a minor. And I doubt that Kate was ever allowed to step foot in Australia.

In reading your "answers" to the LOST questions provided on your site, you used expressions like "this could mean..." and "this is probably..." which reconfirms my feelings....The fanbase is still Lost. "Answers" quickly becomes 'theorizing' before you know it. The producers said that the show was about these characters who are all LOST but it's more about a fanbase that is all LOST. If losing us was their goal then the show could be considered genius. The truth is...there were maybe 100 questions that never got addressed. LOST was like a guy who strings this girl along for 6 years even giving her an engagement ring and then decides, “Nevermind, I am not interested in marrying you anymore!” Wow, who does that??? For my people and I, it wasn’t just about the finale because how weak would it have been to jam-pack a ton of answers in 2.5 hours. That would be sensory overload. When you really look at it LOST really took a turn for the worse starting in season 5. Looking back on what we thought was a great season was nothing more than additional questions and issues that never really connected to the already unanswered and unaddressed issues already existing at that point. Then they just through time travel into the mix and totally confused it'sr fanbase which just seemed to distract us from the real questions like: What is the Island? How did the Others get there? What's Widmore’s story? Why was he banished? Why isn’t Hawking on the island now? How does she know the future? What’s all these fertility issues? Why do the Other’s women die at childbirth but not Claire? Why is Christian Shepherd’s casket empty and lost all the time? Who was shooting at Sawyer, Juliet, etc on the boat? Why is Walt special? Why lead us to believe that Aaron was special and he never was? Why was the Island underwater? The list goes on and on... Why am I wasting my time writing this post? lol I guess it’s a necessary venting process!!The bottom line is that the LOST creators were great question creators…they had us intrigued for years…But they were terrible question answerers. We gave them too much credit and they just were unable to deliver.

It's not dead as far as I'm concerned, though it does seem that most viewers have gotten the majority of their thoughts off of their chests now.

I welcome all ongoing discussion, and can think of no better place on this website for it than here, on the finale's recap page. And I do have more articles in mind that I'd like to write, revisiting certain topics and ideas, as well as looking at various Lost-related products (such as the upcoming Lost Encyclopedia).

But I've got quite a lot of other projects on my plate at the moment and can't devote anymore time to this -- a venture that makes no income for my family whatsoever -- until I've done some other things that help pay the bills. That goes for the planned book as well.

In the meantime, by all means let the conversations continue.

to all
First, does ony one still read here?

Second, have we reached the point where we can stop bowing down to the beauty of the show, and talk about some of the major gaps/omissions, possible alternative interprations?

If this site is essentially dead, then I would love the point/counterpoint as an addendum in Robin's book. Like that would ever happen.

Thanks again, Robin, for providing us with a great foundation for following this amazing show.

Many thanks. I have read Offworld, and having gone to that university in Houston, it meant a bit more.

Sincerely
Randy Montgomery
